Both the versions are equally good, mine has different lyrics and antara." He adds, "Progression wise, there are differences when it comes to the chord structure, and mukhre ka start bhi thoda alag hai. Yeh aaj ka EDM hai aur woh uss samay ka EDM tha.” Talking about his songs 'Ajj Mera Yaar' and 'Sachiyaan' in 'Bhangra Paa Le', the singer says, “Both the songs have an EDM-bhangra vibe, and are beautiful. I am happy that I got an opportunity to work with the composers Kaushik-Akash-Guddu (KAG) and Shubham Shirule-Ana Rehman.” Amit has also lent his vocals for the Telugu and Tamil versions of 'Street Dancer 3D’s 'Dua Karo'. “I had to work on getting the pronunciations right for 'O Deva Deva' (Telugu) and 'Maraven Yen Adayaalam' (Tamil). People are appreciating the songs and I am really honoured. It’s a great composition and I’m happy with all the appreciation that’s coming my way.”

Phir bhi tumko chahunga lyrics, March 19 : Popular singer Jasbir Jassi, known for songs like "Dil le gayi kudi Gujarat di" and "Laung da lashkara", says he now rejects offers to sing Bollywood numbers due to their double meaning lyrics. Jassi visited the Hungama office for a special meet-and-greet session called Hungama Spotlight, where he launched and celebrated his latest single with DJ Shaan titled "Bulleya", read a statement.
On his thoughts about today's music, Jassi said: "I sometimes have a problem with some of the Punjabi songs and videos because they are representing Punjabi music in a wrong way.
"Today it is difficult to sit with our family and enjoy new Punjabi songs. My problem is people try to copy the West, but I feel there is still more time for people to accept it. That's the only reason that I get so many offers from Bollywood but I have to reject many songs because of their abusive or double meaning lyrics.
"Of course I feel bad doing so, but I cannot help it".
He wants to sing for Bollywood, but would prefer a soulful song.
"I would like to explore some Sufi music. I have only given party and dance numbers, so I want to sing a Sufi song now so that people know I can sing that genre too."
He also urged the government to play 40 to 50 per cent classical, indie, folk music on television and radio, as well as to develop a "culture policy".
"If there will be no culture policy, our culture will die and then artistes like us will also die. I will soon be launching more indie tracks."

They strolled onto the stage and managed to cast a charming spell with their melodies, particularly with their famous track, ‘Mast Mast’. Composed in raags – Bhairavi and Bhairo – the band also shared that they have penned the lyrics that narrate the story of a person who is expressing his love for God. They concluded proceedings with their original number, ‘Sawali’ which narrates the story of person who relies on someone else to get his questions answered.
This was followed by the appearance of living legend, Abida Parveen who walked on stage and was instantly greeted by a thunderous applause. The crowd, by that time, had settled and nothing could dissuade their gusto. Meanwhile, Abida jee with her divine presence and powerhouse vocals, quickly began proceedings. Showcasing versatility and absolute command, she performed a beautiful rendition of ‘Yar Ko Hum Ne Ja Baja Dekha’ and left a lasting impression as she sang creative renditions of her most popular hits such as ‘Laal Meri Pat’, ‘Ghoom Charkhra’, ‘Ho Jamalo’ followed by ‘Dil Yahi Toh Hai’ and ‘Chaapt Tilak’, the latter being a tribute to Amir Khusrau. If that was not enough to lift up the crowd, the famous ‘Humsafar’ track managed to bring the house down.

Tell us about your latest release ole Ole 2.0 which is a recreation of another Saif Ali Khan starrer Ole Ole. Ole Ole 2.0 is a recreation of the iconic song Ole Ole. The original track was the EDM of that era and this one has been recreated using EDM in the present time. We have changed the introduction of the hook music, plus lyrically too there are several changes in the song. So this is how it is a recreation and not a remix. Created by Tanishk Bagchi, the best part about this song was that I got to sing it with a singer like Abhijeet Bhattacharya, who was the singer of the original song. What I also loved about the song was that even I got to sing it for Saif Ali Khan. This was another very good advantage for me. Most singers, who either singer the remixes or recreate an original number are compared more because they do not get to give their voice for the same actors. If we go by the music industry trend, the trend for remixes/recreations has increased in the past few years, whether the songs are from Hindi music industry or Punjabi. Remixes/recreations are not a trend started by the music directors instead they are made because there is a demand for them by the listeners.
